Provisional: Markets end lower amid weak European cues

Markets ended lower on Wednesday, amid weak European cues, with oil and FMCG shares leading the decline.

Markets ended lower on Wednesday, amid weak European cues, with oil and FMCG shares leading the decline.

The 30-share Sensex ended down 153 points at 19,286 and the 50-share Nifty ended down 47 points at  5,812.

In the oil segment, Reliance Ind and ONGC were the top losers while HUL and ITC were among the top Sensex losers in the FMCG space.
