Punj Lloyd has moved higher by 9% to Rs 31.35 on the BSE after the company announced that it has received four highway EPC projects worth Rs 1,555 crore in the states of Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Punjab.
The projects in Bihar, Chhattisgarh and Odisha have been awarded by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) while the order in Punjab has been won from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MORTH), Punj Lloyd said in a press release.
With these four wins, the Group’s order backlog stands at Rs 21,838 crore, it added.
At 11:19 a.m. the stock was up 6% at Rs 30.45 as compared to 1.54% decline in the S&P BSE Sensex. The trading volumes on the counter jumped over three-fold with a combined 9.49 million shares changed hands on the BSE and NSE so far.
