Rally continues, Sensex up 91 pts

 ACC (up Rs 14 or 3.46% to Rs 408) has shed some gains on profit-taking. While Grasim has moved up 2.38% (Rs 25) to Rs 1,085, Gujarat Ambuja is flat at Rs 62.

Bharti is trading firm with a surge of 3.86% (Rs 10) to Rs 263. HDFC (up Rs 14 or 1.50% to Rs 927), Hindalco (up Rs 22 or 1.81% to Rs 1,238)

Reliance Industries has added 1.12% (Rs 7) to Rs 628, and ONGC has extended its gains by 1.10% (Rs 10) to Rs 930.

Satyam (up Rs 6 or 1.14% to Rs 502), TCS (up Rs 4 to Rs 1,316) and Wipro (up Rs 3 to Rs 726) are trading with steady gains. Infosys, however, has slipped into the red to Rs 2,329.

Select capital goods stocks have logged strong gains. Titan has jumped 7.60% (Rs 34) to Rs 482. While BPL has soared 5% (Rs 2) to Rs 48, Whirlpool has gained 2.46% to Rs 25. Su-raj Diamond, Samtel Color and Mirc Electronics are up a per cent each at Rs 54, Rs 97 and Rs 22, respectively.

Himachal Futuristics is leading the volume chart with over 75.31 lakh shares traded on the BSE, followed by SpiceJet (28.88 lakh), SRF (23.45 lakh) and Tata Tele (20.73 lakh), respectively.
