Shares of Ramco Systems were up nearly 2% at Rs 197 after the company said that US-based firm Columbia Helicopters has successfully deployed its aviation software.

Columbia Helicopters Inc., the world leader in commercial heavy-lift helicopter operations, has implemented full Ramco Aviation Suite version 5.6 including maintenance, engineering, supply chain, third party MROs and financials, Ramco Systems said in a release to the Bombay Stock Exchange today.

Ramco's Offline Field Maintenance System has unique features that stand apart from the traditional offline systems as it allows the system to be operated completely on a disconnected mode for as long as the situation warrants without compromising on the visibility of the records and data from the central location (head office), the release said.
