Ranbaxy cheers court win, ends flat

The stock slipped further to a low of Rs 390 - down 2.5% from the day's high. The stock finally ended flat at Rs 392. Around 97,333 shares changed hands at the counter today.

Pharma major, Ranbaxy, has added in trades this evening following a US court Ruling favouring the company.

The stock opened at the day's high of Rs 400 and slipped to a low of Rs 392. The stock is now trading with a marginal gain of Rs 3.60 or 1% at Rs 394. Around 43,414 shares have changed hands at the counter on the BSE so far.

 

The company has won a decisive ruling from New Jersey that its generic version of valganciclovir, prescribed for HIV/Aids patients and for organ transplantation-related infections, does not infringe the patent rights of Swiss drug maker Roche's anti-infection drug, Valcyte.
