Ranbaxy, L & T End Higher

The Instanex Skindia DR Index (ISDI) remained more or less unchanged at 480.79 on Wednesday, as compared to the previous close at 4:00 PM IST.

Among ISDI global depository receipts, there were three gainers and two losers, while one remained unchanged.

The gainers were Ranbaxy (up 3.53 per cent to $16.15), L&T (up 2.94 per cent to $8.75) and State Bank of India (up 0.33 per cent to $15.40). The losers were Reliance (down 1.53 per cent to $11.24) and ITC (down 0.35 per cent to $14.30).

Hindalco remained unchanged at $13.10. GDRs of Reliance were heavily traded in the morning session registering volumes of over 200,000.

 

On May 6, 2003, among ISDI American Depository Receipts, there were four gainers and three losers. The gainers were Wipro (up 2.61 per cent to $22.01), Satyam Computer (up 2.56 per cent to $8.41), MTNL (up 1.24 per cent to $4.09) and ICICI Bank (up 0.35 per cent to $5.78).

The losers were Infosys (down 1.66 per cent to $43.18) and HDFC Bank (down 1.02 per cent to $16.55). Dr. Reddy
