Range-bound movement continues; ONGC up 3%

The Sensex continues to move in the same 50-odd point range of 10,901 to 10,951. The index is now up 66 points at 10,945.

ONGC has surged 3% to Rs 1,226. Hindalco has gained 2.7% at Rs 161.

TCS has moved up 2.4% to Rs 1,874. Tata Motors has rallied 1.7% to Rs 935.

ITC, NTPC and Maruti have advanced over 1.5% each to Rs 177, Rs 138 and Rs 893, respectively.

HDFC Bank is down 1.5% at Rs 756.

Out of 2,543 stocks traded so far, 1,592 have slipped, 871 have moved up and 80 are unchanged.
