The stock settled at Rs 251, up 9% from its previous close. The counter clocked volumes of 21.18 lakh shares as compared to the two-week daily average traded volumes of 3.06 lakh shares on the BSE.

Raymond is going strong on the bourses after bouncing back in the black in Q3FY2009. The stock is trading at Rs 257, higher by Rs 27 or 12% on the BSE. The shares had opened at Rs 236, and have touched a high of Rs 262 and a low of Rs 234 thus far.
Raymond, a multi-product company with interests in textiles, apparels and retail, announced a net profit of Rs 42.57 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2009, as against a net loss of Rs 15.20 crore in the December quarter last fiscal.
Total income grew to Rs 375.90 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 357.88 crore during the same period in the previous year.
The counter has witnessed trading volumes of 5.34 lakh shares as against the two-week average of 3.06 lakh shares.
