The Wall Street plunged yet again amid fears of a deeper recession in the US. The Dow Industrial Average index tumbled 514 points to 8,519. The Nasdaq cracked 81 points to 1,616.
The Indian ADRs, too, ended on a dismal note. ICICI Bank slumped over 15% to $14.12. Sterlite, Patni Computers, HDFC Bank, Wipro, Dr.Reddy's, Tata Motors and Tata Communications shed 8-13% each.
