Recovery continues... Sensex down 329pts

The Sensex is now down 329 points at 18,033.

The NSE Nifty is down 138 points at 5,245.

Infosys has slumped 6% to Rs 1,428. Wipro and DLF have tumbled 5% each to Rs 408 and Rs 899, respectively.

Bharti Airtel and Ranbaxy have plunged 4.3% each to Rs 875 and Rs 352, respectively.

SBI and TCS have dropped around 4% each to Rs 2,304 and Rs 847, respectively. Reliance Communications has shed 3.7% at Rs 644.

NTPC and BHEL have dropped 3.5% each to Rs 215 and Rs 2,090, respectively.

HDFC Bank, Reliance, Grasim and Larsen & Toubro have slipped around 3% each to Rs 1,550, Rs 2,530, Rs 2,944 and Rs 3,776, respectively.

ONGC has declined 2.5% to Rs 990. Satyam, Ambuja Cements and Tata Steel are down around 2% each at Rs 398, Rs 115 and Rs 701, respectively.

Bajaj Auto has rallied nearly 3% to Rs 2,330. Mahindra & Mahindra and Maruti have advanced nearly 2% each to Rs 687 and Rs 845, respectively. Tata Motors is up nearly 1% at Rs 719.

Reliance Energy has gained 2.6% at Rs 2,083. HDFC has added 1% to Rs 2,737.

Out of 2,679 stocks traded so far, 2,024 have declined, 621 have advanced and 34 are unchanged.
