Recovery continues... Sensex down 346pts

The Sensex continues to recover and is now down 346 points at 10,463.

Tata Motors has slumped 10.7% to Rs 252. Hindalco has tumbled over 10% to Rs 71.

Grasim and Reliance have plunged 7.5% each to Rs 1,379 and Rs 1,406, respectively.

Mahindra & Mahindra has shed 6.3% at Rs 453. TCS and Larsen & Toubro has dropped nearly 6% each to Rs 511 and Rs 843, respectively.

Jaiprakash Assocaites, ACC and Infosys have slipped 5% each to Rs 69, Rs 517 and Rs 1,265, respectively.

Tata Power, BHEL and Wipro are down around 3.5% each at Rs 765, Rs 1,344 and Rs 267, respectively.

 

Reliance Communications has surged 3.7% to Rs 245.

HDFC, SBI and Bharti Airtel have moved up nearly 2.5% each to Rs 1,755, Rs 1,532 and Rs 735, respectively.

DLF has moved up 1.7% to Rs 305. Tata Steel and ITC have added 1.5% each to Rs 277 and Rs 163, respectively.

Ranbaxy, ICICI Bank and Hindustan Unilever are up around 1% each at Rs 272, Rs 419 and Rs 234, respectively.

Out of 2,511 stocks traded so far, 1,989 have declined, 472 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
