Refined palmolein eases on improved supply

Refined palmolein eased in an otherwise lacklustre oils and oilseeds market here due to on subdued demand amid improved supply positions.

Groundnutoil, castorseed bold, castoroil commercial and linseedoil closed stable on lack of worthwhile buying.

Meanwhile, castorseeds futures recovered moderately on fresh export enquiries.

In edible segment, refined palmolein moved down by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 578 from Friday's closing level of Rs 581. Groundnutoil held steady at Rs 870 per 10 kg.

Turning to futures section, castorseeds for June delivery resumed slightly lower at Rs 4,490 but later recovered to close at Rs 4,520 from Rs 4,491 yesterday, showing a modest gain of Rs 29 per tonne.
    
However, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseed oil all closed unchanged at Rs 4,950, Rs 1,020 and Rs 750 respectively.
