Refined palmolein falls on stockists offloading

Refined palmolein fell at the oils and oilseeds market here today on stockists selling amidst weak Malaysian advices.

While groundnut oil held steady on lack of buying support.

Castorseed bold and castor oil commercial firmed up on renewed demand from shippers and soap industries.

Castorseeds futures ended flat after initial surge due to speculative trade.

In edible-oil segment, refined palmolein dipped by Rs 5 per 10 kgs to Rs 576 from yesterday's closing level of Rs 581.

Groundnut oil were unchanged at Rs 760 per 10 kg.

Turning to non-edible section, castorseed bold rose by Rs 25 per 100 kgs to RS 4,625 from overnight closing level of Rs 4,600 and castor oil commercial moved up by Rs 5 per 10 kgs to Rs 955 as against Rs 950 previously.

Linseed oil continued rule stable at Rs 700 per 10 kgs.

Moving to futures section, castorseed for March delivery resumed higher at Rs 3,885 and moved up further to Rs 3,900 before settling to finish at Rs 3,865 per tonne as compared to Rs 3,866 yesterday.
