Refined soya oil futures prices fell by Rs 4.30 to Rs 602.95 per 10 kg today due to slackness in demand against adequate stocks position.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange counter, refined soya oil for delivery in February fell by Rs 4.30, or 0.71 per cent to Rs 602.95 per 10 kg, with an ope interest in just one lot.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in December declined by Rs 2.60, or 0.46 per cent to Rs 567.50 per 10 kg, with a business turnover of just one lot.

Market analysts said adequate stocks position in the spot market against subdued demand led to the decline in refined soya oil futures prices.
