Refined soya oil prices traded marginally lower by Rs 1.35 to Rs 559.05 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators booked profits at existing higher levels amid fall in demand in the spot market.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, refined soya oil for November-month contract lost Rs 1.35, or 0.24 per cent to Rs 559.05 per 10 kgs in a single lot.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in December contract shed Rs 1.05, or 0.18 per cent to Rs 569.10 per 10 kg in just one lot.

Traders said speculators booking profits at higher levels amid fall in demand in the spot market mainly led to the decline in refined soya oil prices in the futures trade here.
