Refined soya oil futures traded marginally lower by Rs 1.50 to Rs 667.55 per 10 kg today, due to profit booking by speculators.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, refined soya oil for March contract declined by Rs 1.50, or 0.22 per cent, to Rs 667.55 per 10 kg, with a business turnover of just two lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in February shed Rs 1.15, or 0.18 per cent, to Rs 649.90 per 10 kg, with a trade volume of just one lot.

Analysts said apart from profit taking by speculators, subdued demand in the spot market, also led to the decline in refined soya oil futures prices.
