Refined soya oil futures recover on fresh buying

Refined soya oil recovered by Rs 2.25 or 0.46 per cent, to Rs 494.65 per 10 kg in futures trade today as traders enlarged positions, driven by pick up in spot market demand.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, refined soya for delivery in August month recovered by Rs 2.25, or 0.46 per cent to Rs 494.65 per 10 kg with an open interest of 559 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in September traded higher by Rs 1.90, or 0.38 per cent, to Rs 504.30 per 10 kg in 362 lots.  

Marketmen said fresh better trend at the physical market on pick up in demand, attributed to the rise in refined soya oil prices in the futures market.
