In restricted activity, refined soya oil prices gained Rs 6.30 to Rs 616.70 a 10 kg in futures trading today as speculators enlarged their positions on pick-up in spot demand.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, soya oil for delivery in April rose by Rs 6.30, or 1.03%, to Rs 616.70 per 10 kg, with an open interest for a single lot.

Analysts said fresh buying by speculators on hopes of rise in demand helped refined soya oil prices to trade higher.
