Refined soya oil declined by Rs 4.50 to Rs 510.45 per 10 kg in futures trade today, as speculators indulged in profit-booking on slackness in demand at spot markets.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange counter, refined soya oil for October-month delivery fell Rs 4.50, or 0.87 per cent, to Rs 510.45 per 10 kg, with a business volume of one lot.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in November-month delivery declined by Rs 3.95, or 0.72 per cent, to Rs 519.05 per 10 kg, with a business turnover of single lot.

Market analysts said profit-booking by speculators and fall in demand at spot markets kept pressure on the refined soya oil prices at futures trade here.
