Refined soya oil drifted lower by Rs 1.05 to Rs 639.50 per 10 kg in futures trade today on sluggish demand in the spot market against adequate stock availability.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in July fell by Rs 1.05, or 0.16%, to Rs 639.50 per 10 kg, with a business turnover of seven lots.

In a similar fashion, the oil for delivery in June shed 70 paise, or 0.11%, to Rs 640.10 per 10 kg in a single lot.

Traders said sluggish demand against the adequate stock position in the spot market mainly put pressure on refined soya oil futures prices.
