In restricted activity, refined soya oil rose by Rs 13.85 to Rs 645 per 10 kg in futures trade today as traders created fresh positions on pick-up in demand in the spot market supported by the ongoing marriage season.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in December rose by Rs 13.85, or 2.19%, to Rs 645 per 10 kg, with a trade volume of just two lots.

Market analysts said fresh buying by traders on pick-up in demand in the spot market due to ongoing marriage season mainly led to rise in refined soya oil futures prices.
