In restricted activity, refined soya oil prices rose by Rs 5.30 to Rs 635.95 per 10 kg in futures trading today as speculators enlarged their positions on the back of pick-up in spot market demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in June gained Rs 5.30, or 0.84% to Rs 635.95 per 10 kg, with a business volume of a single lot.
Analysts said enlarging of positions by speculators on the back of rising spot market demand mainly pushed up refined soya oil futures prices.
