In restricted activity, refined oil prices moved up by Rs 6.65 to Rs 643.85 per 10 kg in futures trading today on rising demand in the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in July rose by Rs 6.65, or 1.04%, to Rs 643.85 per 10 kg, with a business turnover of four lots.
Analysts said a firming trend in the spot market on the back of rising demand due to the marriage season mainly led to the rise in refined soya oil futures prices.
