Refined oil prices traded higher by Rs 3.65 to Rs 603 per 10 kg in futures trading today, as traders engaged in enlarging their positions, triggered by firming trend at spot markets.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange platform, refined soya oil for January-month rose by Rs 3.65, or 0.61 per cent to Rs 603 per 10 kg, with a business turnover of single lot.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in December month edged up by Rs 1.75, or 0.30 per cent to Rs 587.25 per 10 kg, with an open interest of just one lot.

Analysts said firming trend at the domestic markets following the ongoing marriage season, influenced the refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
