Hindalco and Reliance Communications have plunges 6.7% each to Rs 161 and Rs 491, respectively.
Reliance and Reliance Infrastructure have shed 6.4% each to Rs 2,100 and Rs 948, respectively.
Jaiprakash Associates has tumbled over 6% to Rs 166. Tata Steel and DLF have slipped 5% each to Rs 775 and Rs 455, repsectively.
Ambuja Cements have declined over 4.5% to Rs 85. Satyam and SBI are down over 4% each to Rs 452 and Rs 1,246, respectively.
ONGC has gained 1.5% at Rs 867.
Out of 2,711 stocks traded so far, 2,291 have declined, 386 have advanced and 34 are unchanged.
