Reliance Retirement Fund mops us Rs 225 crore

Fund has an investor base of 50,000 and the total retirement benefit commitment amounts to Rs 1,300 crore

Reliance Capital Asset Management (RCAM) has mopped up about Rs 225 crore in its Retirement Fund.

Currently, the Fund has an investor base of 50,000 and the total retirement benefit commitment amounts to Rs 1,300 crore, RCAM deputy CEO Himanshu Vyapak said here today.

"Uttar Pradesh accounts for roughly 10% of our retirement fund corpus and the total commitment towards the investors is Rs 130 crore," he informed.

He said the retirement fund segment was still growing in India and the total corpus of all such products available in the domestic market was about Rs 2,000 crore.

Recently, RCAM, which is part of the Reliance Capital, had conducted a 'Retirement Survey' pan India in collaboration with IMRB International to assess the Indian people's awareness towards retirement plans and their savings/investment profile.

 

Meanwhile, Vyapak also shared the findings of the survey with the local media.
