Robust Q3 numbers lift Axis Bank by 7.46%

Axis Bank surged 7.46 per cent to Rs 1167.45 after the bank announced a robust third quarter results.The scrip opened at Rs 1090 per share and went on to achieve a high of Rs 1175 per share and a low of Rs 1075.25 during intra-day trade. A total of 2,48,298 shares changed hands on the BSE.

The scrip has climbed 24.2 per cent since last month and 10.51 per cent since last week. Axis Bank's net profit rose 66.2 per cent to Rs 306.83 crore on 58.5 per cent growth in net sales.The priavte sector bank unveiled its results on Wednesday.
