Rolta India soars over 15% on heavy volumes

Shares of internet software and services has rallied nearly 25% in past seven trading sessions post Q2 earnings.

Rolta India has surged over 17% to Rs 74, also its 52-week high on BSE, on back of heavy volumes.

The stock opened at Rs 63.90 and hit a low of Rs 63.50 on the BSE. A combined more than one million shares have already changed hands on the counter in first hour of trading against an average sub 500,000 shares that were traded daily in past two weeks on NSE and BSE.

Shares of internet software and services has rallied nearly 25% in past seven trading sessions after reporting 11% year-on-year (yoy) growth in consolidated net profit at Rs 70.26 crore on back f of 34% yoy growth in revenue to Rs 628 crore.
