Roman Tarmat up on rise in promoter's stake

Roman Tarmat rose by 8.15 per cent to close at Rs 27.20 after the engineering and construction company announced an increase in the promoter's stake during trading hours. Dilip Varghese, promoter of Roman, increased his stake from 8.77 per cent to 9.21 per cent in the company after buying 1,009,000 shares from the open market on March 13. The stock touched a high of Rs 28.05 and a low of Rs 25.10 in intraday trade. A total of 8,035 shares changed hands on the BSE.
