RPG Transmission up on PGCIL order

RPG Transmission gained 19.97 per cent to close at Rs 159.2 after it secured new order worth Rs 110 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL). 10.45 lakh shares were traded as against average of 1.67 lakh shares.
 
At present, the company's order book stands at around Rs 350 crore. The company, a part of the Rs 8,450 crore RPG group, is one of the leading player in the Indian transmission market and is also engaged in Railway Electrification and telecommunication tower projects.
 
In the international market, the company is engaged in constructing a 132 kv line in Nigeria.
