Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) has moved up in the morning trades after the company decided to raise the steel prices following a recovery in demand.
The stock opened at Rs 215 and touched a high of Rs 216. The scrip is now trading at Rs 214, up 1% from its previous close. The counter clocked volumes of 502,632 shares as compared to the two-week daily average traded volumes of 1.40 million shares on the BSE. The scrip has advanced 18% in a month's time.
