Saria continue to slide on sluggish demand

Saria prices fell by Rs 300 per tonne in the wholesale steel market today on sluggish demand against adequate stocks position. Marketmen said subdued demand against adequate stocks position helped saria prices to trade lower.

In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm,10-mm and 12-mm remained weak and lost another Rs 300 each to Rs 31,800, Rs 31,800 and Rs 31,600 per tonne.

Saria 16-25-mm also weakened by the same margin at Rs 31,800 per tonne. Following are today's quotations in Rs per tonne:
