Saria down amid reduced offtake by stockists

Saria prices fell by Rs 200 per tonne in the local steel and iron market today on reduced offtake by stockists following subdued demand from construction units. 

Traders said subdued demand from construction sites due to adverse weather conditions mainly led to fall in saria prices.

In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm, 10-mm and 12-mm were down by Rs 200 each to Rs 43,700, Rs 43,000 and Rs 42,300, respectively, while saria 16-25-mm traded lower by the same margin to Rs 42,500 per tonne.
