Saria gains on increased demand

Saria rose further by Rs 100 per tonne on the local steel and iron market today due to pick up in demand.

Traders said pick up in demand mainly led to rise in wholesale saria prices.

In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm,10-mm and 12-mm remained in demand and added Rs 100 each to Rs 39,900, Rs 41,600 and Rs 40,300 per tonne, respectively.

Similarly, the saria 16-25-mm traded higher by the same margin to Rs 38,150 per tonne.
