Saria prices recovered by Rs 200 per tonne in the wholesale steel market today on fresh buying activity on pick up in demand.
Traders said fresh buying by stockists on pick up in demand pushed up wholesale saria prices.
In the saria section, Kandhenu 8-mm, 10-mm and 12-mm recovered by Rs 200 each to Rs 40,000, Rs 39,700 and Rs 38,400 per tone, respectively.
Similarly, saria 15-25-mm traded higher by the same margin at Rs 38,250 per tonne.
