Saria strengthens on pick up in demand

Saria prices rose by Rs 200 per tonne in the wholesale steel market today on pick up in demand. Marketmen said good demand helped saria prices to trade higher at wholesale market.

In the saria section, Amba 8-mm,10-mm and 12-mm rose Rs 200 each to Rs 33,200, Rs 32,700 and Rs 32,400 per tonne, respectively.

Similarly, saria 16-25-mm gained Rs 200 to Rs 32,500 per tonne.

Following are today's quotations in Rs per tonne:

CTD saria (Kamdhenu) 8-mm, 32,400, 10-mm, 32,400, 12-mm 32,200, 16-25 mm  32,400.
Rathi tor steel : 8-mm 33,300, 10-mm 33,300, 12-mm 33,800, 16-20 mm 33,800 and 25-32 mm 33,800.

 

Saria Jai Bharat (iso 9002) 8-mm 33,700, 10 mm 33,600, 12-mm 33,700, 16-25 mm 33,600.
Amba saria (iso-9002) 8-mm 33,200, 10-mm 32,700, 12-mm 32,400, 16-25-mm 32,500.
