Saria strengthens on stockists buying support

Saria prices rose by Rs 300 per tonne on the local steel and iron market today on stockists buying support following an upswing in constructions activity.

Traders said stockists buying on pick up in demand from constructions units mainly pushed up saria prices.

In the national capital, Saria Kamdhenu 8-mm, 10-mm and 12-mm were up by Rs 300 each to Rs 41,700, Rs 43,400 and Rs 42,100 per tonne, respectively.

Similarly, the saria 16-25-mm traded up by the same margin to Rs 39,950 per tonne.
