Saria weakens on reduced offtake

Saria prices declined by Rs 200 per tonne in the wholesale steel market today due to reduced offtake at existing higher levels. Marketmen said, reduced offtake by stockists due to fall in demand at existing higher levels mainly pulled saria prices down.

In the saria section, kamdhenu 8-mm, 10-mm and 12-mm were down by Rs 200 each to Rs 33,200, Rs 33,200 and Rs 33,000 per tonne, respectively. Saria 16-25-mm also traded lower by the same margin at Rs 33,200 per tonne.

Following are today's quotations in Rs per tonne:

CTD saria (Kamdhenu): 8-mm, 33,200, 10-mm, 33,200, 12-mm 33,000, 16-25 mm, 33,200.

 

Rathi tor steel: 8-mm 33,500, 10-mm 33,500, 12-mm 34,000, 16-20 mm 34,000 and 25-32 mm 34,000.

Saria Jai Bharat (iso 9002): 8-mm 33,700, 10 mm 33,600, 12-mm 33,700, 16-25 mm 33,600.

Amba saria (iso-9002): 8-mm 33,000, 10-mm 32,500, 12-mm 32,200, 16-25-mm 32,300.

Amba shakti (TMT): 8-mm 32,100, 10 mm 32,000, 12 mm 32,100, 16 to 25 mm 32,300.

M S Angle: (50x5) (50x6) 32,000, (40x5) (40x6) 32,500.

Angle capital (ISI): (40X5) (40x6) 36,000, (35X5) (65X6)33,000.
