Saria weakens on reduced offtake

Saria prices declined by Rs 200 per tonne in the local steel and iron market today due to reduced offtake by stockists.

Traders said reduced offtake by stockists due to subdued demand from constructions side mainly led to the decline in saria prices.  

In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm,10-mm and 12-mm were down by Rs 200 each to Rs 41,100, Rs 42,800 and Rs 41,500 per tonne, respectively. 

Similarly, the saria 16-25-mm traded lower by the same margin to Rs 39,350 per tonne.
