Satyam Computer up order win from Bridgestone Europe

Shares of Satyam Computer was up over 1% at Rs 106.10 after the company said it has won a new order from Bridgestone Europe.

Satyam Computer, now known as Mahindra Satyam, has won a new multiyear contract with Bridgestone Europe for its managed services. The contract involves work on SAP based mission critical applications for Bridgestone Europe.

As part of this deal Mahindra Satyam will support Bridgestone in sales, planning procurement and finance functions, the company said in a release.

Over 600,000 shares were traded on both the stock exchanges so far.
