The Instanex Skindia DR Index (ISDI) gained 0.88 per cent to 850.80 on October 30 in early evening trades.
Among ISDI GDR stocks, four advanced and three lost ground. The only gainers were L&T (up 2.03 per cent to $17.60) registering volumes of 20,000 GDRs, SBI (up 1.75 per cent to $30.25) registering volumes of 7,100 GDRs, Reliance (up 0.87 per cent to $23.25) registering volumes of 1,729 GDRs and Bajaj Auto (up 0.77 per cent to $19.65).
The only losers were ITC (down 1.94 per cent to $20.25) registering volumes of 13,073 GDRs, followed by Ranbaxy (down 0.53 per cent to $22.50) with volumes of 11,300 GDRs and Hindalco (down 0.22 per cent to $23.10).
The ISDI which represents the ADRs and GDRs of 15 actively-traded companies, edged up by 0.47 per cent to 853.07 on October 30 as against 849.07 on October 29, an Instanex Capital release said.
The ISDI P/E ratio also inched up by 0.38 per cent to 16.80 from the previous level of 16.74.
Among the ISDI GDRs and ADRs, there were eight gainers, five losers and two ruled steady.
The ADRs of HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank quoted higher to $24.94 and $12.13, respectively, as against $24.00 and $11.85, previously, while the GDR of Larsen & Toubro firmed up to $17.60 from $17.20 earlier.
However, the GDRs of State Bank of India and Ranbaxy Labs dropped to $29.05 and $22.50, respectively, as against $30.00 and $22.70, previously, while the ADR of Satyam Computer eased to $17.64 from $17.74 earlier.
