The major gainers were""SBI, up 2.20 per cent to $39.50 with volume of 27,000 GDRs, ITC, up 1.42 per cent to $35.75 with volume of 2,000 GDRs and L&T, up 1.39 per cent to $25.60 with volume of 6,900 GDRs.

The losers were""Bajaj Auto, down 1.60 per cent to $27.75, Ranbaxy, down 0.79 per cent to $25 with volume of 3,820 GDRs and Hindalco, down 0.51 per cent to $27.25 with volume of 8,870 GDRs.

Among ISDI ADRs, 3 advanced and 5 lost ground. The gainers were""Satyam, up 2.66 per cent to $26.66 with volume of 351,400 GDRs, VSNL, up 1.89 per cent to $10.80 with volume of 200,600 ADRs and Infosys, up 0.50 per cent to $75.94.

The major losers were""MTNL, down 2.24 per cent to $6.55 with volume of 46,900 ADRs, HDFC Bank, down 1.14 per cent to $46.65 with volume of 112,100 GDRs and Wipro, down 0.87 per cent to $21.72 with volume of 111,100 ADRs.

Instanex Skindia DR Index was up 1.31 per cent to 1273.86 on Monday and was trading at a P/E of 20.29.
