Sebi bars Parasrampuria Plantations

The Securities and Exchange Board of India has barred Parasrampuria Plantations Ltd and its concerned officials from dealing in securities and accessing capital markets for five years.

Parasrampuria Plantations and its officials are debarred from dealing in securities by order dated December 29, 2003, a Securities and Exchange Board of India press release said here today.

Parasrampuria Plantations had failed to comply with the market regulator's order dated October 8 directing the company to refund investors' money within a month from the date of order, the release said.
