Nickel, tin and copper prices rose at the non-ferrous metal market here today due to rising industrial demand coupled with stockists buying, supported by firming trend at the London Metal Exchange (LME).
Meanwhile, aluminium prices moved down on lower offtake from consumer industries.
Nickel hardened by Rs 20 per kilo to Rs 1,275 from last weekend's closing level of Rs 1,255 and tin rose by Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 1,435, as against Rs 1,430 previously.
Copper cable scrap and copper wire bar edged up by Rs 2 per kilo each to Rs 455 and Rs 483 respectively, as compared to Rs 453 and Rs 483 last weekend.
Copper scrap heavy, copper armiture and copper sheets cutting, all inched up by a rupee per kilo each to Rs 446, Rs 435 and Rs 428 respectively.
However, aluminium ingots looked down by Rs 2 per kilo to Rs 129 and aluminium utensils scrap softened by a rupee per kilo to Rs 104.
