Copra Rajapur and copra edible prices fell sharply at the spices market here today due to heavy offloading from stockists and traders amidst fresh arrivals from key growing regions.
Meanwhile, copra Kozhikode moved up on better retail demand.
Copra Rajapur Mumbai plunged by Rs 300 per quintal to Rs 7,500 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 7,800 and copra edible Mumbai dropped by Rs 150 per quintal to Rs 6,350, as against Rs 6,500 previously.
However, copra office Kozhikode edged higher by Rs 25 per quintal to Rs 5,475 from Rs 5,450 last weekend.
Other spices closed stable in the absence of any market-moving factors.
