Select copra prices declined further at the spices market here today due to subdued demand from stockists and retailers amid adequate stock availability.

Copra Rajapur Mumbai and copra Edible Mumbai both lost another Rs 100 per quintal each to Rs 8,600 and Rs 7,600 as compared to Tuesday's close of Rs 8,700 and Rs 7,700, respectively.

Copra office Kozhikode also moved down by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 6,750 from Rs 6,800 yesterday.

Black pepper, ginger bleached and unbleached continued to rule steady owing to the lack of market-moving factors.

Black pepper (per kg) 303/323 (303/323), ginger bleached (per kg) 175 (175), ginger unbleached (per kg) 205 (205), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 6,900 (6,900)
