Select edible oil prices rose up to Rs 20 per quintal in the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on fresh buying support by vanaspati millers.
However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a limited range on alternate small bouts of trading and settled around previous levels.
Traders said fresh buying by vanaspati millers led to rise in select wholesale edible oil prices.
In the national capital, soyabean refined mill delivery (Indore) and soyabean degum (Kandla) rose by Rs 20 and Rs 10 to Rs 6,440 and Rs 6,060 per quintal, respectively.
Crude palm oil (ex-kandla) followed suit and traded higher by Rs 20 to Rs 5,650 per quintal.
Mustard expeller oil (Dadri) gained Rs 20 to Rs 6,040 per quintal.
