Meanwhile, palm oil for the September delivery climbed 0.6% to $1,012 per tonne on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange.
In the national capital, palmolein (rbd) and palmolein (kandla) oils were up by Rs 30 each to Rs 5,700 and Rs 5,400 per quintal, respectively.
Soyabean refined mill delivery (Indore) and soyabean degum (Kandla) oils remained in demand and advanced by Rs 30 each to Rs 6,150 and Rs 5,750, respectively, while crude palm oil (ex-kandla) traded higher by the same margin to Rs 5,150 per quintal.
