Select pulses weaken on sluggish demand

Select pulses fell by up to Rs 200 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market today on fall in demand at higher levels against adequate stocks. 

Traders said adequate stocks against sluggish demand at prevailing higher levels mainly led to the decline in select wholesale pulse prices.

In the national capital, urad and its dal chilka eased to Rs 4,100-4,200 and Rs 4,950-5,350 against last close of Rs 4,100-4,650 and Rs 5,050-5,450 per quintal.

Masoor small and bold prices fell by Rs 100 each to Rs 3,200-3,400 and Rs 3,350-3,600 and its dal local and best quality lost Rs 200 each to Rs 3,800-3,900 and Rs 4,050-4,350 per quintal.

 

Malka local and best quality were too shed Rs 100 each to Rs 3,800-3,850 and Rs 3,950-4,050 per quintal.
