Select spices fell up to Rs 300 per quintal on the wholesale kirana market today on adequate stocks against subdued demand.
Ajwain lost Rs 200 to Rs 12 500-19,000 and dhania and soanf bold fell by Rs 300 each to Rs 5,200-9,700 and Rs 8,200-13,200 per quintal, respectively.
Traders said adequate stocks position following increased arrivals from producing region against sluggish demand mainly pulled down select wholesale spices.
Lower trend in producing region also influenced the trading sentiment, they said.
